Photophiles attests that SilverFast 8 is designed for professional use as well as for motivated amateurs. Instructional video clips and numerous automatic functions are a great help during the initial learning phase.

Used with plustek 8200i and installed on windows 7 PC. It breaks down very frequently. I am wasting a lot of time.
It seems that the problem is caused by AACO function. As soon as I disabled the function, the brakedown message did not show up.

There are no known issues with the AACO feature in general. So it’s important to know about your special setup and SilverFast settings.
