I have a reflecta mf5000 and silverfast 8 I am running it on windows7. I can’t get the program to. Recognise or even locate the scanner. It works ok on the supplied software. Can anyone help

the MF5000 is supported by SilverFast 8 with Windows 7.
Please make sure, the reflecta scanner drivers are installed and the USB cable is connected properly.
You may also try to remove all other USB devices.
