Sorry, but your website contains incorrect information:
SilverFast 8 is not compatible (for Nikon LS 50ED) with the Windows 8, that confirms your Support Manager Arne Ketelhohn:
“…8 is not yet oficially supported in Windows 8”.
My Windows 8 Pro inform (in Russian):
“INF of third-party sites does not contain information on the signature”
I hope for update of the SF 8.

Hello yurydyad,
you can use you Nikon LS50 with SilverFast 8 and Windows 8.
However, there is a little issue, the driver has no Windows 8 signature.
You can work-around using this instruction:
